Three-Dimensional Computer Graphics
(3D computer graphics, in contrast to 2D computer graphics) are graphics that use a three-dimensional representation of geometric data (often Cartesian) that is stored in the computer for the purposes of performing calculations and rendering 2D images. Such images may be stored for viewing later or displayed in real-time.
3D computer graphics rely on many of the same algorithms as 2D computer vector graphics in the wire-frame model and 2D computer raster graphics in the final rendered display. In computer graphics software, the distinction between 2D and 3D is occasionally blurred; 2D applications may use 3D techniques to achieve effects such as lighting, and 3D may use 2D rendering techniques.
3D computer graphics are often referred to as 3D models. Apart from the rendered graphic, the model is contained within the graphical data file. However, there are differences: a 3D model is the mathematical representation of any three-dimensional object. A model is not technically a graphic until it is displayed. A model can be displayed visually as a two-dimensional image through a process called 3D rendering or used in non-graphical computer simulations and calculations. With 3D printing, 3D models are similarly rendered into a 3D physical representation of the model, with limitations to how accurate the rendering can match the virtual model.
In PG Studios; we have a great team who is specialized in creating 3D environments in high standards, production process is passed in many stages:
When starting a project gather as many references as possible. especially engineering maps
2) Layout and composition:
to create an environment, we in PG Studios are starting with simple illustration by placing some basic polygon shapes in the scene. According to engineering schemes and maps.
3) The modeling stage:
This is one of the most complicated stages which similar to Carving sculptures on the rocks.
4)Using paint effects and texturing:
This stage will give the model the look and shape of the real material, and will effect directly on the result of the final rendered image.
As live camera shooting, you have to adjust the lighting accurately to give you the needed result.
PG Studios is using many methods of render process, every project has its specificity.
7) After effects:
this will give you the natural look of the textures and desired result of the lighting effects too.
To create a character in 3D, you will use many programs, its need a huge imagination to create it from scratch, and great experience too.
In PG Studios; we insist to produce a high quality characters, each one has its own story and expressions.
Simulation is the imitation of the operation of a real-world process or system over time.
The act of simulating something first requires that a model be developed; this model represents the key characteristics or behaviors/functions of the selected physical or abstract system or process. The model represents the system itself, whereas the simulation represents the operation of the system over time.
Animation is the process of making the illusion of motion and the illusion of change by means of the rapid display of a sequence of images that minimally differ from each other. The illusion as in motion pictures in general, is thought to rely on the phi phenomenon.
Animators are artists who specialize in the creation of animation.
Animation can be recorded with either analogue media, a flip book, motion picture film, video tape, digital media, including formats with animated GIF, Flash animation, and digital video. To display animation, a digital camera, computer, or projector are used along with new technologies that are produced.
In PG Studios; we have a great number of Animators with fully needed experience to give the real sense of motion and animation.
Two-Dimensional Computer Graphics
What Is 2D Animation?
2D animation creates movement in a two-dimensional artistic space. Work in the field of 2D animation requires both creativity and technological skills.
2D animation focuses on creating characters, storyboards, and backgrounds in two-dimensional environments. Often thought of as traditional animation, the figures can move up and down, left, and right. They do not appear to move toward or away from the viewer, as they would in 3D animation. 2D animation uses bitmap and vector graphics to create and edit the animated images and is created using computers and software programs.
2D Animation Types
1) Traditional Animator (2D, Cel, Hand Drawn)
In traditional animation, animators will draw images on a transparent piece of paper fitted on a peg using a colored pencil, one frame at the time. Animators will usually do test animations with very rough characters to see how many frames they would need to draw for the action to be properly perceived. Timing is extremely important in traditional animation, since the frames has to fit the soundtracks exactly, as such the animation process of traditional animation can be lengthy and costly. Once the clean-up and in-between are complete, the production would step over to photographing each individual frame.
2) 2D Vector based animation
2D animation is mostly referred to any key framed animation that is produced on a flat surface, but can also refer to vector animations that adopts the techniques of traditional animation.
Cel animation is often most thought of when talking about 2D animation, and the process is often lengthy and complicated. The technique is the same as in traditional animation, but when the animations and in-betweens are done, the frames are brought over to a process called ink-and-paint.
Vector based animations, meaning computer generated 2D animations, uses the exact same techniques as traditional animation, but the benefits is the lack of physical objects needed to make traditional 2D animations apart from a computer.
2D HISTORICAL INFOS
In 1917, Italian-Argentine cartoonist Quirino Cristiani created the first animated feature ever made, El Apóstol, utilizing cutout animation; however, a fire that destroyed producer Federico Valle's film studio incinerated the only known copy of the film, and it is now considered lost.
In 1937, Disney created the first sound and color animated feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
In 1937,Frankl Brothers, Egyptian artists ; created the first sound and animated feature film (MAFEESH FAYDAH) MESH-MESH AFANDI.
In 1937- days after Frankls Bros., ِAnton Salim, the Egyptian artist & Producer; created the sound and animated feature film (HABBOB & HABBOBA).
BROADCASTING & TV CHANNELS MANAGEMENT
In 2004; PG Studios Team built with many engineers the one of the first private Satellite TV channel in Jordan, it's called Smartsway, it was targeting gulf region by 24H of unique programs about self development and success in life,, after that many successful TV channels was built by Progressive Generation Studios, like; Kuwaiti Parliament TV Channel, Industrial TV Channel.

PROGRAMMING & SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAMMING & SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
1) Interactive Platforms & Solutions:
In PG Studios; we are making a huge change in the methodology of education in MENA region; since we are building new recipe of Edutainment projects, by mixing 2D, 3D and visual effects arts with school curriculum, and producing multi- languages; multi-platforms localized solutions, addressing students and kids, also we can make any dynamic solution or specialized websites.
2) Simple Games & E-Books:
PG Studios has a great experience in producing 2D and 3D mini-games and E-Books. PG Soft is using many languages; Java ,C ,C++ , html5 , php
3) Simulations & VR
A person using virtual reality equipment is typically able to "look around" the artificial world, move about in it and interact with features or items that are depicted on a screen or in goggles, in PG studios; we pursuit of future technologies, and making simulations linked with past civilizations, imaginary impossible environments especially the eastern cultures.
